Messi awarded MasterCard Man of the Match for Argentina against Paraguay

Lionel Messi has scooped the MasterCard Man of the Match award as Argentina hammered Paraguay 6-1 in the Copa América semi-finals.
The Barcelona man’s scoreless run continued at this summer’s tournament, but he was anything but ineffective in the final third.
Messi directly set up three goals, and was the heart of everything good for the Albiceleste with a virtuoso playmaking display in one of the performances of the competition.
The Argentina captain has won the individual accolade for the third time this summer, after he was named Man of the Match against Colombia and Uruguay.
He will now lead his country into the Copa final against hosts Chile in Santiago
