The U.S. men followed quickly on the heels of their female teammates, winning gold in the 4x400m relay Saturday night at the Rio de Janeiro Games.
With Allyson Felix anchoring the women’s relay to gold earlier Saturday night, Team USA has swept the 4x400m event in Brazil.
Arman Hall, Tony McQuay, Gil Roberts and LaShawn Merritt took back the event for the Americans, who were beaten by the Bahamas at the 2012 Olympics in London, with a time of 2:57.30. Jamaica took the silver, while defending champion Bahamas finished third for the bronze.
