Dunga is relishing having a full complement of players available to him as Brazil finish their Copa América preparations againstHonduras on Wednesday.

The Seleção registered their ninth straight win since the 2014 World Cup by dispatching fellow Copa side Mexico 2-0 on Saturday in São Paulo, thanks to goals from Philippe Coutinho and Diego Tardelli in the first half.

With the tournament kicking off on Thursday, Brazil’s full 23-man squad have gathered for their final friendly before heading to Chile.

“I think [the Mexico game] was good in the end,” Dunga told reporters.

“I have more questions in my head now regarding the starting XI. The players know that I have so many options now.

“All players in this group should be ready to play. Obviously I can only choose 11 players, but there are always injuries and cards so those on the bench must be ready for this.

“It was good to see Coutinho playing the 90 minutes. It was his first time with the same structure of the team and his performance improved.”

Neymar was the most notable absentee from the match at the Allianz Parque due to his Champions League final commitments with Barcelona, but has returned to the camp ahead of Brazil’s final friendly.

Luiz Gustavo has also been ruled out of the Copa with injury, but his replacement, Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, made his international debut against El Tri.

Dunga was happy that some of the lesser-used members of his squad were able to gain experience, ahead of the team’s Group C opener against Peru on June 14.

“Luiz Gustavo is out of the team and we didn’t have Neymar [on Saturday], so we were worried how our performance would be affected,” he commented.

“There were lots of positives from this friendly. We tested three U-20 players. Fred had his debut. Fabinho played in the second half and did well. Felipe Anderson did the same. All of them played well in this match.”

Brazil’s nine-match winning run has seen the team keep seven clean sheets, conceding only two goals overall – while scoring 20 at the other end of the pitch.

The 2014 World Cup hosts have a clear advantage in previous meetings against Honduras, winning four of their six clashes in the past and scoring 20 goals in the process.

The Concacaf nation will be competing in the Gold Cup this summer, and come into Wednesday’s fixture having surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Copa side Paraguay in their last outing.
