Paraguay’s Lucas Barrios was named MasterCard Man of the Match after scoring his side’s goal in the 1-1 draw with Uruguay.
In what was a repeat of the 2011 Copa América final, it was Uruguay who took the lead courtesy of Jose MarÃa Giménez’s goal shortly before the half hour.
But Barrios, who led the Paraguay line effectively, equalised with a thumping header of his own from a right-wing corner a minute before the interval.
The 30-year-old was not able to finish the match, though, and limped off midway through the second half with a muscular injury.
