The play-offs will decide the last four places in the final tournament.
When is the play-off draw?
The draw ceremony begins at 11.20CET on Sunday 18 October and takes place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
How are the play-off contenders decided?
The top two in each of the nine groups qualify automatically, along with the third-placed team with the best record against the nations first, second, fourth and fifth in their section. The other eight third-placed sides go into the play-offs.

Group B: Bosnia and Herzegovina
Group C: Ukraine (guaranteed at least a play-off spot)

How does the draw work?
The eight teams in the draw will be divided into two groups of seeded and non-seeded teams, based on the UEFA national team coefficient rankings. Each fixture will see a seeded team play against a non-seeded team, with the first team drawn to play the first leg at home.
