Paris Saint-Germain are creating rivalries and enemies because other teams now see them as a threat, said coach Unai Emery.
“These are the games you want to play and the team has taken a big step in order to compete wit the best,” said the Spaniard, ahead of the clash with Bayern Munich.
“On a sporting level we have enemies because they see we are a serious threat, that we are full of big stars and we have progressed to the point of being one of the candidates to win.
“It is a process, we are now an enemy for some and that is why they speak so much about us.”
Neymar is fit after his foot injury that prevented him playing against Montpellier at the weekend and now all the focus will be on him and his relationship with Cavani.
Emery explained that the club has tried to stop the leak of information over an apparent bust-up between the pair.
