Stephen Curry (thigh) probable for showdown vs. Boston Celtics

A thigh contusion kept Stephen Curry inactive for the Golden State Warriors’ last win, a 110-100 victory against the visiting Orlando Magic. As the West-leading Warriors await a Thursday night showdown with the East-leading Boston Celtics, Curry may be back in the mix for that one.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr says Curry is probable for the Celtics game and looked good in yesterday’s practice. Curry may also benefit from an additional day of rest, which Golden State has before tomorrow’s game.

Veteran Shaun Livingtston got the start Monday against Orlando and, in a sign of confidence in Curry’s return, the Warriors sent guard Quinn Cook back to the G League. Cook was called up on Monday for the Magic game.
