Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata will miss Saturday’s trip to Everton after he was booked while he celebrated his winning goal in Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat of Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup.
The 25-year-old Spaniard put the ball inside his shirt, sucked his right thumb and made what appeared to be an ‘A’ shape with his left hand.
His wife Alice Campello recently announced that she is pregnant.
Morata will serve a one-match ban for his fifth yellow card of the season.
Chelsea play Everton at Goodison Park at 12:30 GMT on Saturday, 23 December.
