Dit jaar organiseert Digicel Suriname wederom i.s.m. Chelsea F.C. de Digicel Kicktstart Clincs.
De drie (3) coaches van Chelsea F.C. die hiervoor speciaal naar Suriname afreizen zijn; David Monk, Andrew Ottley en Kobina Elliot. (zie bio’s in attachment)
De kickstart clinics vinden plaats van 28 t/m 30 mei 2014 In het Essed stadion en het Emille de La Fuente sportcomplex.
Op de laatste clinic dag worden de drie beste U-16 spelers geselecteerd die vervolgens zullen meedoen aan de Kickstart academie later dit jaar in het buitenland.
Dit jaar zullen ook de U-16 coaches en de U-16 meisjes selectie kunnen deelnemen aan een aparte clinic verzorgd door Chelsea.

The Digicel Kick Start Clinics – now in their eighth year – will again see thousands of aspiring young footballers from across 14 countries in the Caribbean and Central America try out for their chance to travel to the Digicel Academy in Barbados and train under top coaches from Barclays Premier League side, Chelsea FC.
During the week-long Digicel Academy, the top 42 boys from across the region get the chance of a lifetime to receive intensive training under coaches from Barclays Premier League side, Chelsea Football Club.
