Copa America winners:
Uruguay – 15 titles: The reigning champions claimed their record crown in 2011 and were also successful in 1995, 1987, 1983, 1967, 1959, 1956, 1942, 1935, 1926, 1924, 1923, 1920, 1917 and 1916.
Argentina – 14 titles: La Albiceleste’s most recent success was back in 1993, with their other victories coming in 1991, 1959, 1957, 1955, 1947, 1946, 1945, 1941, 1937, 1929, 1927, 1925 and 1921.
Brazil – eight titles: The Seleção triumphed in 2007 and previously lifted the trophy in 2004, 1999, 1997, 1989, 1949, 1922 and 1919.
Peru – two titles: Lifted their first trophy as hosts in 1939 and were successful again in 1975.
Paraguay – two titles: Victorious for the first time in Peru in 1953 with their only other crown coming in 1979.
Colombia – one title: Their only success came in 2001 when they enjoyed a perfect record on home turf.
Bolivia – one title: Used home advantage to the full in 1963, with the tournament held at altitude in La Paz.
