ASpanish tax bill of €1.3 million is owed by former Barcelona defender Dani Alves.
Having this week left the Catalan club for Serie A side Juventus, who the Brazilian helped defeat in the 2015 Champions League final, it appears he has unfinished financial business in Spain.
The Spanish Treasury has published a list of 4,768 people who owe more than €1m in tax, with the defender one of the familiar faces notified.
Dani Pedrosa, a Spanish MotoGP racer, appeared on a list published in December of last year, owing more than €7m to the treasury.
The former President of Real Madrid, Lorenzo Sanz, has also not paid taxes amounting to €1.2m.
The publication of Dani Alves’ tax debt follows other Barcelona players, such as Javier Mascherano and Lionel Messi, who have found themselves in hot water over tax evasion.
