Paolo Guerrero was awarded the MasterCard Man of the Match award for his part in Peru ‘s 2-0 victory over Paraguay in Concepción.
The striker was on target once again as La Blanquirroja finished in third place for the second Copa América running with victory over Ramón Díaz’s side at the Estadio Ester Roa.
There was nothing to separate the two sides at half time but André Carrillo opened the scoring shortly after the interval.
La Albirroja struggled to test Pedro Gallese in response and in the closing stages Guerrero popped up with his fourth goal of the tournament – sending him level with Eduardo Vargas at the top of the scoring charts.
Chile and Argentina round off the tournament when they meet in the final at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago on Saturday.
