The forward’s treble fired Los Incas into the semi-finals for a second successive Copa América – they now move on to face host nation Chile on Monday.
Guerrero put Peru in complete control of the quarter-final in Temuco when he scored twice in the space of four first-half minutes.
His third of the night arrived with 16 minutes to play, meaning he became the first player at this year’s tournament to walk away with a match ball.
Friday sees the action continue with Argentina taking on Colombia, with the final quarter-final seeing Brazil face Paraguay on Saturday night.
