Inter Milan have confirm the signing of Brazilian prodigy Gabriel Barbosa, agreeing a five-year contract with the youngster.
Barbosa becomes the second high profile signing made by Inter Milan this week, following Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario to the San Siro.
The 20-year-old impressed for Brazil last month at the Olympics, helping the side to claim Olympic gold in their home nation. Barbosa netted twice in the group stages of the competition against Denmark.
And the forward has ended a terrific summer by competing a big money move to Italy, and becomes the latest recruit for Frank de Boer’s side.
Barbosa made 153 appearances during his time with Santos and the youngster netted a decent 56 goals, including 12 in all competitions last season.
This signing is the latest twist in a roller-coaster of a summer for Inter Milan, given that the Serie A side sacked Roberto Mancini before the start of the season.
