Keylor Navas – Real Madrid’s European wall

Keylor Navas is 133 minutes away from reaching Jens Lehmann’s 853 minute clean sheet record in the Champions League.

The Costa Rican has not conceded a single goal since making his debut for in the competition back in November 2014, his first European start under former Real coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Navas made two crucial saves in Saturday’s Clasico, including a wonderful stop from Lionel Messi, but says he only has one thing in his mind when he steps out onto the pitch.

“I do not think about personal achievements,” Navas began, “I think about victory with Real and progressing further in the [Champions League].”

Real play away first to a Wolfsburg side who, although aren’t in the greatest form, have won all their home Champions League games so far, including victories over Manchester United, PSV, CSKA Moscow and Ghent.
