Liverpool to give £50 voucher for fans who bought Coutinho shirt

Liverpool are to offer fans who bought a 2017/18 replica shirt printed with Philippe Coutinho’s name a £50 gift voucher.

Following their staunch resolve during the summer transfer window, Liverpool have finally acquiesced and allowed Coutinho his dream move to Barcelona with a club record deal agreed on Saturday.

The Brazilian midfielder travelled to Catalonia on Saturday evening and there are even suggestions he could be in attendance for the Blaugrana’s LaLiga clash with Levante at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

In an official statement released on their official website, Liverpool said they would now give fans, with the Coutinho shirt, the chance to buy other merchandise.

“Liverpool Football Club is to offer supporters who bought a 2017/18 replica shirt printed with Philippe Coutinho’s name and number a £50 voucher, once the move is completed,” the statement read.

Supporters will be required to present their Coutinho shirt as proof before the voucher is issued, this shirt will not be retained by the club.

Online customers will be emailed their voucher codes at a later date.
