Luis Enrique talked to the press on the eve of the game against Arsenal in whichBarcelona will be hoping to book their place in the quarter-finals.
On the tie still being open: “The first-leg result is important, but it won’t change our preparation or tactics for this game. The tie is still open”.
On humility being the key to repeating the treble: “Being where we are now takes us closer to our overall objective, which is equalling or improving on last season. However, to do that we must remain humble and show that we can up our game. Football is such a complicated game that, despite our great run of results, we still have to turn them into titles”.
Will Barça relax based on their 2-0 lead from the first leg? Not at all. You have to play well in every Champions League game and the players know that”.
What concerns you most about Arsenal? “I’m most worried about the way they can switch play and how high they press up the pitch. We dealt with that well in London”.
The Barça boss does not trust Arsenal: “Nobody should underestimate Arsenal. Not for the individual or collective threat they pose. If we concede first, who knows? Our aim is to score first”.
