FC Barcelona star striker Lionel Messi, with a knee injured since late September, rejoined team training on Monday with the derby against Real Madrid five days away, informed the club.
“The first team of FC Barcelona has returned to training Monday (…) The training was attended by Leo Messi, who is recovering from a left knee injury suffered on September 26 September. As well as Ivan Rakitic, who was injured in the soleus muscle of his right leg on November 4,” said the club in its statement.
