On Thursday, El Confidencial published images of Neymar’s court hearing from back in February 2016 in which tax authorities sentenced the Brazilian to two years in prison.
Neymar is accused of corruption for agreeing to a deal with Barcelona in 2011for 40 million euros that didn’t meet FIFA regulations.
“My father is the one who manages my career since I was born,” Neymar said to the judge. “I trust him with my eyes closed.
“He asked me to sign the papers so I did.”
“I do as he says because I trust him with my career and with my life.”
