Real Madrid have scored 11 goals in three games under Zidane with one common denominator – only the front line composed of Benzema, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have found the back of the net. Obviously they are three fundamental players, the attacking trio, but they may not be able to keep Real’s La Liga or Champions League aspirations alive all by themselves.
The reason for this is Bale’s injury and the fact that Ronaldo is a long way off the deadly goalscoring form of last season, which saw him net 48 league goals. Only Benzema has improved on his figures for last year, and the team needs other players to chip in with goals.
