After a year-and-a-half in charge of Brazil, Tite has revealed that his plan for getting the best out of Neymar is not to put too much pressure on his shoulders.
The Selecao coach has had a massive impact on the national side since taking over, leading them to the World Cup in Russia by easily navigating their South American qualifying group.
Real Madrid defender Marcelo insisted that the players owe him everything, something which Tite denied, before going on to discuss how to get the best from his star man.
“We don’t make Neymar fully responsible for everything and he isn’t at loggerheads with us over it,” Tite told FIFA.com.
“I spoke to all of the players and allocated an area of responsibility to each of them.
“When you have one of the top three players in the world, it is very easy to just leave the responsibility on their shoulders.
“But the fact is that each of us are all responsible to some extent for what happens and that’s where the individual side of things and creative talent comes in.”
The 56-year-old also acknowledged that there is a side to his star man which so often isn’t seen in public, away from his incredible ability on the field of play.
“On a technical level, everyone knows how good a passer he is as he can be in some tough situations and still set up his teammate for a chance,” he added.
“His passing is very impressing. Before, I’d watch his feints and his finishing and not focus so much on that but that’s something which surprised me.
“On a personal level, he has a big heart and he’s a good kid. He has a supportive and caring side and not many people know about that.”
