Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos revealed that Francesco Totti had gone into the home dressing room at the Bernabéu following Tuesday night’s match to ask him for a signed shirt.
“Totti came into the dressing room because he wanted a signed shirt from me. It made me proud because I’ve admired him for years because I was always a fan of his long hair and he’s a top player. He also gave me his shirt, which I’m going to put in my museum”, said Ramos.
The 39-year-old Italian legend received a rousing reception from the Bernabéu faithful during what could end up being his last Champions League game with Roma.
“Totti deserves that applause. He’s been a dedicated professional for so many years and they showed him their affection and admiration because he’s a role model for all of us”, Ramos noted on the subject.
