Tragic terrorist attack in Iraq
Real Madrid’s celebrations will be dampened today after it was today reported that ISIS had killed 12 Real Madrid fans in Iraq during the Champions League final.
Watching the match in Baakouba, 60km north of Baghdad, Real Madrid fans were gunned down by four terrorists just before the penalty shoot-out took place.
At least 12 Iraqi Real Madrid fans have been killed whilst eight were wounded and taken to hospital nearby. According to AS, the Iraqi authorities have attributed the attack to the Islamic State.
ISIS second attack on Iraqi Real Madrid fans
Sixteen Iraqi Real Madrid fans were murdered by ISIS earlier this month at a Real Madrid supporters club in nearby Samarra, Iraq.
The terrorist organisation reportedly believe football to be “anti-Muslim”.
