Conmebol has selected Wilmar Roldán to referee the Copa América final between Chile and Argentina .
The Colombian official will take charge of matters at Estadio Nacional on July 4, and will be aided by compatriots Alexander Guzmán (first assistant) and Cristian De la Cruz (second), with Venezuela’s Jose Argote as the fourth official.
Roldán was in charge of Argentina and Paraguay’s 2-2 draw in the group stages, and Peru’s 3-1 win over Bolivia in the quarter-finals.
He also refereed at the 2014 World Cup, overseeing Mexico’s match with Cameroon.
Raúl Orosco of Bolivia will officiate the third-place playoff between Peru and Paraguay, with Javier Bustillos (first assistant), Juan Pablo Montane (second) and Andrew Cunha (fourth official) in support.
