Sport finance partner SportsPro Live

With just three days to go before SportsPro Live, we are delighted to welcome sport finance specialists Sportsrisq on board as our Official Drinks Reception Partner.

SportsPro Live will seek to produce the blueprint for global sport’s next decade by bringing together a fantastic array of industry-leading speakers and delegates for a day packed full of interviews, panel discussions and unique insights.

Specialists in structuring sports finance products, Sportsrisq helps professional clubs and sponsors to maximise revenues and minimise risk linked to on-field results. It provides risk transfer contracts and structured finance products that are linked to a team or player’s performance, and possesses significant experience in pricing future sports performance, structuring contracts, placing risk and sourcing funding.

Since its formation in 2010, SportsRisq has worked with a wide range of global clients. It has close partnerships across the insurance and capital markets sectors and so can offer clients the most suitable, cost-effective solutions depending on their individual circumstances.

Tom Mitchell, the director of SportsRisq, was delighted to announce the agreement, he said: “Sportsrisq are excited to be partnering with SportsPro in their inaugural event this Thursday. We hope that it’s the start of a successful relationship moving forward.”

SportsPro’s managing director Nicholas Meacham added: “We’re looking forward to hosting SportsPro Live, our first ever conference, on Thursday. Preparations have gone extremely well and we’re confident that SportsPro Live 2014 will be a huge success.”

“It’s great to have Sportsrisq join us as our Official Drinks Reception Partner. We are looking forward to working with their team and are confident that this partnership will prove to be mutually beneficial.”
